The Rock Observatory is located in close proximity to the farm house and forms the eastern part of a double observatory with a small working space between the two observation rooms. Each observation room has its own hand-operated retractable roof. The western observation room is used by members of the WAA (Vienna Working Group for Astronomy).
A Celestron CGE is mounted on the column, which is a slightly smaller model of the CGEpro.
Power: 230V and 12V (via power adapter) is available.
The mount has a clamp for a 3″ Losmandy rail. You are welcome to attach your own device or rent one of our devices, for example the Celestron 11″ or the Williams Refractor 4″. All our telescopes can be found under astro-devices.
